Guacamole Dip

Here´s a fat-reducing trick: make guacamole with equal parts avocado and mashed peas!

1 box (10 oz.) frozen peas, thawed

2 tbsp. fresh lime juice, separated

1 ripe Haas avocado, halved and pitted

2 plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped

1/3 cup Spanish onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

2 tbsp. jalapeño, cored, seeded and finely chopped

Kosher salt

Fresh ground black pepper
